Name: Nakatsugawa Ui
Special Features: Big stomach

Ui is a pretty childish acting care free girl with a HUGE stomach. She loves cheesy snacks which is why most of her mom's cooking and her lunch has at least some cheese. Hinata Ibuki is Ui's best friend and is very protective of her.

Ui met Kazuma when he was lost in the woods after chasing a monkey that took his little brother's hat. Ui then helped Kazuma with directions. When Ui crossed the river, she had to jump on stones. When Kazuma crossed the river, he slipped and accidentally fell and kissed Ui.When Ibuki appeared, she was shocked and was very mad, thinking Kazuma did that on purpose. Ui started loving Kazuma as an older brother, but then realizes he is more than that to her.

Vocaloid

Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. It utilizes Yamaha's Vocaloid synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. BUT, now vocaloid is known as many singing Japanese characters. There are more than just 4 vocaloids.

Kaito

Name: Kaito
Fun Fact: Very Fond Of Ice Cream

Kaito is a Vocaloid DTM (Desktop Music) software created by Crypton Future Media. He utilizes the older Vocaloid engine, the predecessor for Vocaloid2, and his voice is completely computer synthesized thus is less smooth sounding. Although rougher sounding, Kaito and his sibling Meiko are able to incorporate much broader voice range than Miku and Rin/Len.

As a mascot character, he is the older brother figure for the entire Vocaloid group, frequently called “Onii-san”. He wears a white coat and a blue muffler. He is very popular among the female users of NicoNico Douga and sings a lot of BL themed songs.

Hoshino Kazuma

Anime: A Bridge To The Starry Skies
Name: Hoshino Kazuma
Love: Natkatsugawa Ui

Nick Names
 Kazu-Kun- Ui
Onii-Chan- Ayumu
Hoshino Kazuma- Ibuki, Koyori
Bro- Daigo

While waiting at a bus stop, a monkey steals Ayumu's hat, so Kazuma runs after it into the forest to get it. However, he ends up lost and eventually runs into Ui Natkasugawa, who shows him how to get back to the bus stop. When it comes to crossing the river, Kazuma slips and falls into Ui, and accidentally kisses her. Ui's close friend Ibuki Hinata saw this, and is always yelling at Kazuma for some reason or another.

Kazuma is kind and cool - but rumours about him spread through the school, because he fell into Ui. He is liked by most people, but others, not so much. He is very caring and protective towards his little brother Ayumu Hoshino and often babies him a bit, not embarrased by the people surrounding him.

Kazuma and Ayumu

Nadeshiko/Nagehiko Fujisaki

Name: Nadeshiko/Nagehiko Fujisake
Gender: Believe-It-Or-Not-Male
Guardian Character: Temari
Temari
Nadeshiko is the former Queen's Chair of the Guardians. When Amu rejected the offer to join the Guardians, Nadeshiko tries several tactics to convince Amu to join. The two eventually become best friends and Nadeshiko looks over and supports Amu in her love life.

In Episode 25 of the anime, Nadeshiko is revealed to be a boy named Nagihiko Fujisaki. It is a tradition in the Fujisaki family for the males to be raised as females as part of their training so that they may play female roles in Japanese dance. He reveals himself as Nadeshiko's "twin brother" to Amu. The only people who knows Nagihiko's secret besides his family are Kukai, Daichi, Tadase, Kiseki, and the school's principal Tsukasa Amakawa.

Amu has seen Nadeshiko dance for practice, but has only seen her real performance once in the anime.

When Nadeshiko undergoes Character Change with Temari, she gains two cherry blossom-shaped hairclips in her ribbon and becomes more aggressive, starts "speaking" in Hiroshima slang, and attacks with a naginata.

Ran

SCE Ran.png

Name: Ran
Likes: Cheering People On
Dislikes: Keeping Still

Ran is Amu's guardian character, and was the first of three to hatch out of her egg. She was born from Amu's desire to be honest with herself and to be more athletic.

Ran's appearance represents that of a cheerleader, and she is constantly cheering on Amu and the others. Ran can easily be called the most hyper of Amu's guardian characters.

When Amu character transforms with Ran, Amu becomes Amulet Heart. Amu's body becomes as light as a feather, making her able to jump great heights and move faster. Throughout the series, she becomes able to use a heart baton, heart speeders, and heart pompoms when she transforms with Ran.

Kazuma always puts his brother first. Their parents said that if the countryside did Ayumu good, they would move there too. Kazuma has attendance to crash into girls, but on accident. Thats how he met Ui. About 3 girls start to fall for Kazuma, and only ONE gets him.

Miki

SCE Miki.png

Miki is Amu's guardian character, and represents her desire to become creative, artistic, and fashionable. She was the second of three to hatch from her egg.

Miki is quiet most of the time, but is stubborn. She helps Amu decide what to wear out of school and is usually sketching in her sketchbook. Miki's apparel is a bit tomboyish with a not-so-feminine voice, and I sometimes imagine Miki as a boy instead of girl. Miki crushes on Kiseki, Yoru, Daichi, Musashi, and Rhythm, whose owners are all of the boys Amu has feelings for. (Tadase, Ikuto, Kukai, Kairi, and Nagihiko.) When Amu was mad at herself for thinking of three boys, Miki said, "Don't worry. A girl is defined by the number of loves she has."

When Amu character transforms with Miki, Amu becomes Amulet Spade. Amu then becomes highly artistic. Throughout the series, Amu gains new attacks she can use, such as colorful canvas.

One night, Amu wishes that she can be reborn as the person she truly wants to be. When she wakes up the next day, three eggs are lying on her bed! This is just the start of many new things to come, and those eggs slowly bring Amu closer to the person she wants to be!

Genre: Magical Girl
Season 1: 52 episodes
Season 2: 39 episodes

Lucia, the mermaid princess of the North Pacific ocean, sets out on land to find the boy she saved seven years ago from a tsunami wave, whom she entrusted her pink pearl to. She soon finds him, a surfer named Kaito Domoto. Kaito doesn't recognize her in her human form, but she can't tell him who she really is, or legend has it that she will turn to bubbles. She drops hints to Kaito and tries to convince him that she is the mermaid without actually telling him.

Lucia also goes onto land because she has been told that a group of water demons have invaded the sea, and she must gather all six of the other mermaid princesses along with their pearls to bring back to Aqua Regina, the sea goddess. She eventually joins Hanon and Rina, two other mermaid princesses, to aid her. A mermaid princess's pearls can be turned into a microphone, and when sang through it, it can also be used as a weapon towards villains, causing pain upon them.

Éclair Tonnerre

Name: Éclair Tonnerre
Age: ???? Most fans say that she is too old for Tamaki though
Anime Show: Ouran Highschool Host Club

An anime-only character, Éclair Tonnerreis the beautiful and shrewd (but also very spoiled, cruel, manipulative, and selfish) heir to the France-based Grand Tonnerre Group, which in the anime now employs Tamaki's mother as a servant in Éclair's house. Having heard a great deal about Tamaki from his mother, Éclair develops a kind of crush on him and Tamaki's grandmother (who detested his mother) concocts a scheme to make him Éclair's husband. She tracks down Tamaki in Japan and convinces him to leave the Host Club, offering him a chance to see his mother if he complies with her wishes. She secures noninterference from the Ootori group by arranging for the Grand Tonnerre Group to buy Ootori Medical so as to control Kyoya's father.

She does not immediately recognize Haruhi Fujioka as a girl; however, she does believe that Haruhi is Tamaki's (male) lover. This leads her to try to drive a wedge between Haruhi and Tamaki, with some degree of success. In the end, Tamaki leaves Éclair in order to save Haruhi's life, but not before leaving a good impression by genuinely smiling at her and thanking her for letting him go. She then asks her driver to head toward the airport without Tamaki, telling her driver how wonderful and pure-hearted Tamaki is because he actually could smile at her after all that she had done. She reveals that Tamaki's mother is now a maid at her house, and it is (ambiguously) suggested that she may somehow now arrange for Tamaki to see his mother again.

Ootori Kyoya

Kyoya-ootori.jpg

Name: Ootori Kyoya
Age: 17
Birthday: November 22nd
School: Ouran Academy
Clubs: Host Club
Host Type: Cool Type
Occupation: 2nd Year Highschool Student
Favorite Subjects: English, German and Physics
Favorite Foods: Anything Spicy

He is from a very powerful big-business family that deals predominantly in medicine, and secretly feels slightly overshadowed by his older brothers, who he knows are far more likely to one day inherit the company instead of him. However, despite the circumstances, he does have great confidence in his own abilities and finds the situation to be more of an interesting game than a roadblock.

He does all the financial and planning aspects of the Host Club, from managing budgets to selling off merchandise (Just like Haruhi's pencil that went "missing"). In his words, “use whatever is at hand, be it friend or foe.” Almost everything he does is for his own benefit, but he can occasionally display a selfless side. He is the third son of his very wealthy and influential family; thus, if he wants to take over his family's business, he must work extremely hard to meet his strict father’s high expectations. Also, Kyoya's bad temper when waking up in the morning has earned him the name “Low blood pressure Evil Lord”.

His manner towards clients is very pleasant and civil, and is said to be "the cool type." As a complete foil to Tamaki, even in appearance, he often realizes things Tamaki or the others are too naive to understand (and usually keeps the information to himself for his own amusement), and is the "Mom" to the father figure of Tamaki.

He sleeps late, often due to business and school.

Kyoya is often polite to people who are in power or related to it, and claims he only helps people so he can get ahead in the business circles. Haruhi finds this untrue when he keeps a woman from being scammed before Kyoya tells her that she was the wife of an important business man, and that he knew that by looking at her ring. She then realizes that there was no way he could have seen the ring - there was a poster blocking their view from where they were standing - and comes to the conclusion that Kyoya is really a nice guy who likes to help others but hides it under a cool face.

He is considered the "Shadow King" of the Host Club by Haruhi and Tamaki, controlling all aspects of it while still being only second-in-command. He also considers himself an egoist, despite the fact that he isn't. He is quite mature compared to the other hosts

Morinozuka Takashi

Name: Morinozuka Takashi
Age: 18
Birthday: May 5th
Occupation: 3rd Year Highschool Student
School: Ouran Academy
Club: Host Club
Favorite Subjects: Geography, Japanese and History
Favorite Foods: Oriental Foods

Morinozuka, or Mori, is the "Wild Type"of the Host Club. He is the protector and best friend of Honey, who he is almost never seen without.

Mori takes a liking to small things, such as Honey and Haruhi. He seems to have feelings for Haruhi, like most of the other Host Club members.

Mori realized Haruhi was a girl when she cried out to him for help when Tamaki was hugging Haruhi and exclaiming she was cute. He then picked her up and blushed.

Mori is often considered a "silent type" and considers Honey as both his friend and "spokesperson". The Morinozuka family had protected and served the Haninozuka family for many generations but marriage joined the families two generations ago, breaking the master-servant tradition. Despite that, Mori still faithfully protects Honey and attends to his wishes.

It is no secret that Honey and Mori are incredibly close; with most of the scenes they appear in, they are put together or interacting in one way or another. Mori is naturally very protective of Honey and as such, is the only one to call him by name ("Mitsukuni") and vice versa. (They are cousins.)

Hitachiin Twins

Name: Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin (Hitachiin Twins)

Hikaru is the older twin.

HIKARU

Name: Hitachiin Hikaru
Age: 16
Birthday: June 9th
School: Ouran Highschool
Host Type: Little Devil
Clubs: Host Club
Occupation: 1st Year Highschool Student
Favorite Subjects: Math, Chemistry and Physics
Favorite Foods: Italian Food and "Super-Spicy" Food

Hikaru Hitachiin is one of the Host club members in the Ouran High School Host Club series. He and his twin brother, Kaoru Hitachiin, are introduced when Haruhi Fujioka stumbles upon the host club. Hikaru is in class 1A along with his brother and Haruhi, making him (and his brother) major rivals for Haruhi's time. The customers at the host club that request Hikaru and Kaoru appear to like the "brotherly love" that they pretend to have. Also a common game to be played at the host club is the "Which one is Hikaru?" game. And only Haruhi has been able to distinct them apart in Ouran.

Both Hikaru and Kaoru are mischievous and playful, but Hikaru is the more boisterous one, as well as being selfish, stubborn, and immature. Even when separated from Kaoru, he acts basically the same Haruhi states this in the show, though because he no longer has his brother to occupy him, he can become rather destructive. Hikaru is rather childish, and doesn't know how to interact with other people besides his brother since they both spent so long shutting out the rest of the world.

KAORU

Name: Hitachiin Kaoru
Age: 16
Birthday: June 9th
School: Ouran Highschool
Occupation: 1st Year Highschool student
Clubs: Host Club
Host Type: Little Devil
Favorite Subjects: English and Modern Literature
Favorite Foods: Italian Food and "Super-Spicy" Food

Kaoru, like Hikaru, is a member of the Host Club, and according to Haruhi, is "one level meaner" than Hikaru. Both Hikaru and Kaoru are mischievous and playful, but Kaoru is the calmer one of the two. He is also kind, understanding, and often more mature than Hikaru, despite being the younger brother. When separated from Hikaru, he is easy-going and a nice person to be with, becoming even serious and selfless, contrasting his usually playful attitude. Kaoru has some idea of how to interact with people besides his brother; they both spent so long shutting out the rest of the world before the Host Club, but he learned rather fast to be with other people and respect others' decisions.

The customers at the Host Club that request Hikaru and Kaoru appear to like the "brotherly love" that they have. Also a common game to be played at the Host Club is the "Which one is Hikaru?" game.

Tsukamoto Yakumo

PDVD 002-5.jpg
Name: Tsukamoto Yakumo
Anime Show: School Rumble
School: Yagami Highschool
Class: 1-D
Birthday: March 23

Mysterious and soft spoken, Tsukamoto Yakumo (also referred to by Kenji Harima as Imouto-san) carries a strong presence with her wherever she goes. She can hear the thoughts of people who have strong feelings for her, such as hate, love (Very common) etc. and is a member of the Tea Club. She has a tendency to fall asleep anywhere there is a place and time to and is afraid of dogs. She also works at Cafe Mercado. Cafe Mercado often does Cosplay.

Yakumo's cooking ability is far above average (and her older sister Tenma). You see Yakumo's cooking in several occasions throughout the anime. The other characters always comment on her exceptional culinary skills. A few memorable instances are when she makes Onigiri for Harima when he comes to her house to fix her AC. Another instance is when Tenma has a sleep over and Yakumo serves her friends desserts. Another one is when she cooked fish for that stray black cat, Iori that soon becomes her pet.

Yakumo takes manga editing lessons from Mitsui, the Chief Editor. She also assists Harima with his Manga, doing the inking work.

Yakumo is talented and well trained when it comes to sewing. One occasion where you see an instance of this is in Episode 24. Previously Eri had made repairs on a jacket of Harima's and left it on his school desk for a surprise. Harima then asks Yakumo to get his school bag. Without knowing, Yakumo grabs the bag from Eri and sees the poor stitch work and repairs it herself with an exceptional result.

Fujioka Haruhi

Name: Fujioka Haruhi
Anime Show: Ouran Highschool Host Club
Age: 15
Grade: High School Freshman
School: Ouran Academy
Birthday: February 4th
Host Type: Normal

Haruhi is a girl who is mistaken as a boy due to her short and messy hair that she had to cut due to neighborhood kids getting gum in it. Upon entering the Third Music Room (Host Club Meeting Room), she stumbles and knocks down an 80,000 yen vase and therefore has to work at the host club to pay off her debt. Only the members of the Host Club know that Haruhi is a female. She is recognized as the "Normal Type" and only got into the school because of a scholarship, not extreme wealth, making her a so called "commoner". Hikaru and Koaru gave Haruhi the hair cut/make over (Shown in picture above) so she could look "decent".

Haruhi is well liked by the visitors of the host club because she is understanding to people's problems and is always happy and bubbly (Unless annoyed or irritated). She isn't interested in romance and doesn't act romantic among her female fans and costumers. Haruhi is well aware that Tamaki, Hikaru, and Kaoru take a liking to her.

Haruhi is the least bit feminine, preferring to go out in a t-shirt and jeans. Tamaki and the Hiitatchin twins are always trying to get her to wear something girly. She isn't scared of anything except for lightning, and never relies on others.

Suou Tamaki

Name: Suou Tamaki
Anime: Ouran Highschool Host Club
Age: 17
Grade: High School Junior
School: Ouran Academy
Clubs/Activities: Host Club
Host Type: Price Type

Tamaki Suou is the King of the Ouran Academy's Host Club. Tamaki cares about everyone, and seeing people happy is what's "rewarding" to him. He is the "Prince Type" and an expert in flattery, whether it involves impressing young high school girls or young high school girls' moms.

Tamaki has a crush on Haruhi Fujioka, but doesn't realize it himself. Since he can't come up with any other reason why he loves her, he thinks he is her "Daddy". Haruhi is less than impressed whenever he tries to show off. He gets highly upset when the Hiitatchin twins, Hikaru and Kaoru when they try to impress her too. He is amazed by the things commoners use and have, especially instant coffee.

Tamaki moved from France to Japan when he was in 8th grade. Upon his arrival at Ouran Academy, he was fascinated with kotatsus and Japanese culture. His first friend in Japan was Kyouya, whom he demanded to take him to historical Japanese landmarks.
He also has a little stuffed bear named Beary that Honey hates...

School Rumble

19t7ko.png

The plot of School Rumble covers the daily lives of students of the fictional Yagami High School and their surroundings. The series is of the romance comedy genre, with scenes in the story being exaggerated for comedic purposes.

The female protagonist is Tenma Tsukamoto, a second year high school girl with no special qualities who has a crush on Oji Karasuma, a stonefaced eccentric. The generally clueless Tenma finds it difficult to confess her love to him. Complications arise with Kenji Harima, the male protagonist and a delinquent, who has developed a crush on Tenma. He too has difficulty confessing to her. The attempts of the two characters to confess their respective loves are running gags seen throughout the series.

As the series progresses, the story changes focus to the relationship that develops between Harima and Tenma's close friend, Eri Sawachika, which results from various embarrassing situations involving Eri and Harima. Harima also develops a relationship with Tenma's younger sister Yakumo Tsukamoto, who begins to assist Harima with the development and drawing of his manga.

As the story progresses, Harima gets himself into romantic situations with Tenma, the relationship between Tenma and Karasuma progresses, and Eri's and Yakumo's bonds with Harima grow stronger.

Genre: Romance, Comedy
