Shugo Chara (also known as "My Guardian Characters"), is an anime about a girl named Amu Hinamori. At school, she is a popular student known as "cool and spicy" for her mom's punk-ish fashion sense that everyone loves and her stubborn and tough attitude. Although she is popular at school and at home, the "cool and spicy" role is just her way of not being able to express her true feelings correctly. One night, Amu wishes that she can be reborn as the person she truly wants to be. When she wakes up the next day, three eggs are lying on her bed! This is just the start of many new things to come, and those eggs slowly bring Amu closer to the person she wants to be!
